Podcast Growth

A recent study by Bridge Ratings estimates that nearly 5 million people have downloaded a podcast this year, compared with just 820,000 in 2004. It estimates that will increase to 63 million users by 2010. The study also showed that approximately 20% listen to a podcast on at least a weekly basis – averaging 6 podcasts per week and 4 hours a month listening to podcasts.
