I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s not real impressed with blogs. While I believe they are functional, and present a forum for communicating, they aren’t the “next big thing.” I happened across this today and since this guy said it more eloquently than I could, I thought I’d post it here:

    Nick Denton, founder and publisher of Gawker Media, which now runs 14 blogs, does not think that blogs are going to revolutionize the business world. “The hype comes from unemployed or partially employed marketing professionals and people who never made it as journalists wanting to believe,” Denton said.
